I use one capsule with water on an empty stomach daily and my bowels are fit for the day's activities.

GREAT for muscle recovery
I'm a distance swimmer and have really noticed that adding this amino acid has helped with muscle recovery after a hard swim.
I highly recommend this amino acid for athletes who are serious about physical performance. This one is a real keeper for us!

It's too early for me to review this supplement
however, I have taken L-Glutamine before and I really notice the difference with my post-exercise recovery.

Great Product!
I do not often write a review although I have been using Swanson products for a long time. But I just have to say I found this product extremely helpful in my overall health. Especially helpful in my stamina and in everything the product says it is helpful for. And there was a noticeable difference from the first day I started taking it. I found myself being able to run with renewed strength. Overall strength and stamina definitely improved. I would recommend this product to anyone. Just cannot say enough good about it!

Great for the Intestines
This product is very good. I've learned during my time with ordering from Swanson that they select some really great suppliers and Ajinomoto is one of the best. I've been taking this product 2 caps twice a day, 2 gms daily, for about 1 year to help rejuvenate my colon. I'm using this along with Swanson's Aloe Vera capsules along with Swanson's probiotic, Golden Flake Fiber, and a couple of others and I have experienced great results so far. I'll continue using the Glutamine this same level for another 6 months and then drop back to a maintainence level after that.

Best Glutamine Preparation
I have tried several kinds of Glutamine preparations, and found this one to be the easiest on my stomach and guts. The soothing effect helps take even two capsules toghether with no stomach upset. The price for such a superb preparation is quite right too.

Used for a short time-there were no side effects
I ordered this back in May and started to use it. There were no side effects in the short time I used - and the product was delivered in a timely fashion.
