Better than Capsules
I have tried both these inconvenient tablets and easier to swallow capsules, in equal amounts.
I really, really wanted to like the capsules better because they are easier to swallow.
For me these tablets seem to absorb better, I'm not sure why, but there is a marked difference in my joint mobility with the tablets.
I tested this theory over several months last year and the 1500mg tablets always won!
So the convenience is off a bit but for me it's worth it.
MSM has been a blessing for me!

Works well
Started using this a year+ ago, and we wouldn't be with out it. My husband could feel the difference when we ran out awhile back, so now I keep an extra bottle on hand.

My mistake
I ordered these for my father not paying attention that they were tablets, not capsules..
They are rather large,(again my mistake for not looking at supplement size) will make sure I order capsules next time.
As far as effectiveness, don't really know yet, I have read it can take 1-2 months depending on the health of the individual.

Must be used with Glucosamine / Chondriton
Great product at a great price. Must be combined with Glucosamine and Chondriton for full benefits. But at this price and the price of the Glucosamine / Chondriton you cannot go wrong.

EXTREMELY LARGE TABLET
I literally could not swallow these, even when cut into 2 or 3 pieces with a pill splitter. I never had this problem before, and take a similar pill daily... It may still be a good value for someone who can handle them.

Best ever
This is the best investment for my joints. I've tried other MSM, but this formula is by far the very Best. This product helps me do the things I love to do.
The pills are large, if you drink fluid first and wet your throat it goes down much easier. Definitely worth it by far. I only go to Swanson's for any help I need, they are always there. Thank you, Thank you Swanson's :o)

Too Large to Swallow
I used to love the MSM I bought from you, it was in capsules and I swore by it and recommended it to everyone. I didn't notice the "tabs" note on the last order. These are "horse pills" WAY to large to swallow. I try to gag them down once in a while but I will have to look for another brand now. Can't you go back to the capsule form - so I don't have to switch to new brand. I wish I had not purchased these MSM tabs. I won't ever buy them again. I am a long time customer and really like most of your other products.

I'm sorry I did not read the reviews before buying. thay are very hard to swallow but will try disolving in water.

Won't ever buy again!
Next time I'll get MSM in powder form. I've never had a problem swallowing tablets but these just don't want to go down, too big and too many sharp angles that get stuck even when first broken in several pieces. I've resorted to dropping them in hot water to dissolve them first.

Ultra MSM
these tablets are huge and very hard to swallow. i bought them because they were high potency (1500 mg) and got them on sale for Buy One Get One Free. i won't buy them again. prefer taking MSM as a capsule.

Helpful procuct
I take this product to contribute to joint health and any other health benefits it may contribute to. I have taken joint health procducts for about 14 years, and my joints feel better now than they did before I started taking supplements.

too BIG to be useful
I read the other 11 reviews before writing this one to see if others had my issue, and several did indeed. This is a 'horse pill' as they say.
It doesn't matter how high the dosage is if you can hardly swallow it, and I'm a 220 lb. man.
I'm sure the Swanson quality is there, and for those who can swallow such HARD LARGE tablets, fine.
But for the rest of us, I recommend simply that we pay pennies more a bottle, just pennies, and get the 1,000 mg CAPSULES. Same quality, still great prices. That's what I do now.
I actually avoid taking this HARD tablet, it is so LARGE. I do once or twice a week to slowly get rid of them, using Atkins shake which is creamy, not water. I take the Swanson 1,000 mg. capsules the rest of the time.
I felt strongly enough about this to logon and type this.

Youthful splendor being restored!
After trying MSM at only half the recommended dosage as I was really only taking this to get the sulfur, I noticed my Santa Claus beard appeared "dirty" after the first week or so. Then it began to regain its lost hair color in the exact reverse chronological order as to where it had turned white. So somehow it had just turned the white hair clock back in reverse. When I increased to the recommended dosage of twice daily, the process accelerated and I knew, for sure, it was MSM.
I have only been at it for a few months and already 33% of the beard is now with its "youthful splendor".
Truly the unexpected benefit beyond my wildest expectations!

These are so large I cannot swallow them.
Splitting them makes sharp edges.
Kindly do not do this again.....Thank you.

I like this MSM
I started taking this to support flexibility in my joints as I am very active in yoga, and sometimes I like to really push myself into some tough poses although I'm moving along through middle age. Somedays it felt like I had overdone the twisting in my knees, especially. Since taking the MSM for, about a month now, I have not had that feeling. What's more, I noticed recently that my hair and skin seem noticeably improved. I've always had kinda dull hair, all of a sudden it's shiny and curly, actually having some personality! Then I researched more about the MSM -- I hadn't known about the reported benefits to hair and skin, but there it was in the research. So, that was a nice surprise! And my knees are performing very nicely to boot, which is what I was after in the first place. I do recommend this product.

Good source of sulphur
MSM is one of the safest supplements to take, so I personally take more than the recommended dose. On the internet even doses of several tens of grams a day can be seen. When I take this product, my hair gets stronger and my skin gets clearer and softer. These are really nice side benefits on top of improving joint health!
