Best walnut
I purchased this Walnut for my husband to eat with his icecream. We used to buy the regular walnut at the Supermarket so I decided to try the organic Walnut from Swanson. My husband loves this Walnut so I will be purchasing it from Swanson from now on.

Not good...
The last order of these was old and stale. Had to throw them away. Won't be ordering them again. Inconsistant freshness.

Good product
My husband loves to munch on nuts for added protein. These walnuts come in a handy ziplock bag. We add them to our morning cereal.

Rancid
Although the date they arrived was 3 months before expiration date on the bag the nuts smelled and tasted bad, especially compared to another brand I ordered at the same time from another retailer.

wonderful product
I often purchase nuts for my brother who eats a lot of them to stay healthy. He called and said that these were the best walnuts he has ever had. He said their taste far surpassed any he has purchased at grocery stores. He said that they were so good he has been frugal using them, so of course I ordered more for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swanson Organic Walnuts were good
These walnuts were good and fresh tasting. They are a great addition to oatmeal cookies after being ground up in the food processor.

Convenience Over Price
The walnuts are good. As wiith most of the nuts I purchase from Swanson they are on the high side price wise. Nonetheless, it is a convenient way to purchase them so I do from time to time. They are fresh and that counts too.

sorry to report
I'm sorry to report that the nuts I received were stale to almost rancid. I ate some anyway but threw out the rest. I guess I should have returned them, but it seemed too much trouble for the 4.99. I find the same true of most packaged nuts; they go bad quickly if not well refrigerated. It's better to get them at a store where you can first try a sample at the bulk bins. But overall I'm very satisfied with other Swanson products and service, and I'm glad to read in the other reviews that some people did get good fresh nuts.

good product
I was really amazed to see the price of the organic walnuts for 2 for 1. We know that most organic nuts are expensive but I got it for a very good price. I love the walnuts because I use it whenever I am baking my cakes, cookies and other vegetarian menu. I am a vegan and thats the reason why I opt for organic products. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to eat healthy organic products.

tasted old and rancid
these tasted old and I had to send them back. one great thing about Swanson's, you can send it back even if it's been opened and they gladly refund your money.

Organic Walnuts- excellent
Absolutely wonderful walnuts. The tastiest I have ever had. They were not all broken up like some walnuts you buy in the store but perfect halves. I definitely would recommend these to others.
