We took the old Swanson Ultra formulas, removed all the parabens, took out the sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and added in a special herbal complex for a more natural approach to beautiful, healthy hair (and scalp). What hasn't changed, however, is the tea tree oil foundation. This natural wonder from Australia contributes to the health and appearance of your hair and scalp unlike any other natural oil, at once defending and nourishing without drying or leaving behind an oily film. Because we use no SLS—a common foaming agent found in cleansing aids—these products may not produce the lather you're accustomed to. But don't be fooled! New Swanson Cosmetic Science Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Conditioner produce remarkably beautiful results without potentially harmful, unnatural or unnecessary ingredients.

Ingredients: Purified (deionized) water, lauryl glucoside, decyl glucoside, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf gel, vegetable glycerin, phenoxyethanol, tea tree oil, Arnica montana flower extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein, Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract, Echinacea purpurea (coneflower) root extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, Salvia officinalis (sage) leaf extract, Solanum lycopersicum (tomato) fruit extract, d-panthenol (vitamin B-5), sodium chloride, citric acid, xanthan gum, Origanum vulgare (oregano) leaf extract, Thymus vulgaris (thyme) leaf extract, Cinnamomum zeylanicum (cinnamon) bark extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract, Citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel extract, Mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf extract, Hydrastis canadensis (goldenseal) root extract, Olea europaea (olive) leaf extract.

Directions: Apply a small amount of Tea Tree Oil Shampoo to wet hair and gently massage into hair and scalp. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Repeat if needed. For best results use with Tea Tree Oil Conditioner.

Ingredients: Purified (deionized) water, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf gel, vegetable glycerin, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, tea tree oil, hydrolyzed wheat protein, d-panthenol (vitamin B-5), Arnica montana flower extract, Echinacea purpurea (coneflower) root extract, Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, Salvia officinalis (sage) leaf extract, Solanum lycopersicum (tomato) fruit extract, citric acid, butylene glycol, Origanum vulgare (oregano) leaf extract, Thymus vulgaris (thyme) leaf extract, Cinnamomum zeylanicum (cinnamon) bark extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract, Citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel extract, Mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf extract, Hydrastis canadensis (goldenseal) root extract, Olea europaea (olive) leaf extract.

Directions: Cleanse hair with Tea Tree Oil Shampoo for best results. Gently squeeze out excess water. Massage Tea Tree Oil Conditioner into hair and scalp. Leave on for one to two minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Not Very Effective The shampoo doesn't foam at all and is hard to work into hair. The conditioner is hard to rinse out and leaves my hair oily. I don't recommend this particular shampoo and conditioner by Swanson. May 12, 2012
Fantastic Shampoo Conditioner The new formulation is fantastic. Swanson removed parabens and Sodium lauryl sulfate. This is a vast improvement over other hair products. It is not too thin. It does not have perfume. It cleans well without harsh chemicals. Way to go Swanson's for improving this product so much! April 22, 2012
Like Have been using this about 2 months. Like the way my hair now shines and looks overall healthier At 60, and coloring my hair it looked dry. The only down side to this product is the smell and the shampoo is watery but for the price and benefits to my hair I would recommend this product. February 19, 2012
changed product I used to get the Swanson brand tea tree shampoo/cond combo and it worked really well, BUT they seemed to not only changed the look of the bottle but the product as well. DO NOT like the look or feel of the wash i get with this. Shampoo is very watery, does not suds up and leaves hair feeling coarse and dry. then I have to use a ton of the conditioner to even get my fingers through it after the shampoo. I have very sensitive skin and its hard to find products that don't irritate my head, I USED to like this but something changed and no longer a fan. February 14, 2012
Good Product I was very dissapointed when you discontinued your Tea Tree Oil Shampoo & Conditioner. However, it seems this new one out is similar and I must say that it's really a good product. My hair really feels clean, gives a nice shine and leaves it soft. And without all the Laurel Sulfates and other chemicals; it's natural. The only drawback is the smell, though it does disappear once dry. I would love to see if maybe Rosemary can be added to enhance the smell and make it more pleasant? February 6, 2012
Nice shampoo and conditioner I really like this shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair so soft. Although the shampoo is watery which makes it a bit hard to use on my long hair. The conditioner works great !! I don't experience any tingling feeling on my scalp, but love both of them anyway. January 31, 2012
