Good stuff!
There is a Korean saying that a wagon full of ginseng is more valuable than gold. I don't know about that but it certainly helps with energy, focus and stress reduction. Some say it helps with libido but I haven't experienced that. I recommend this Swanson product!

For some reason, other sites/stores are pushing that inferior American Ginseng down your throats and it's hard to find Korean and Siberian varieties without them being mixed with American. Thanks, Swanson!

Excellent Ginseng
This is the first kind of ginseng I tried. I'm glad I made the purchase. They seem to help quite a bit with handling stress and your mood and give you a slight boost of energy. Has a pleasant peanut butter herb taste. They're non-toxic so it would be very difficult to overdose on this wonderful herb.

All around benefits
I purchased Korean Ginseng for it's broad spectrum of benefits, from boosting immunity to increased energy levels. Some days I "feel" the energy and some days I do not. But that's okay because I have faith that it's improving my overall health silently within.

Calming the nerve
I actually just take half capsule (just to avoid high blood pressure) and it works very good. I could feel my nerve becoming more steady and calm. It's just like something. And it doesn't cause heat to me as I usually encounter with other ginseng products.

Good stuff
Its fine as much you need,, obviously it wont make you super fast but is effective make you feel as if you were naturally like that. The effects takes place after some time like around 1 week or so....

Gentle energy boost
I can't say that I have noticed anything substantial, but I do feel that it gives me a gentle boost of energy in the morning.

Couldn't tell a difference
I couldn't tell a difference when I took the ginseng and when I didn't. But the pills smell really good. I could tell they were really made of red korean ginseng. I will still continue to take one a day until they are gone, but I won't be buying this again. At least they were inexpensive enough to try.

I love this stuff!
I take both ginseng and guarana with some caffeine in the mornings, as it can be hard to wake up at five am. This is just what I need! I almost start feeling panicky when I'm running low. What I like about this is that it gives a person more natural, non jittery type energy, and there's no crash later. Great stuff! Thanks Swansons!

Wasn't my favorite
Maybe it's just not potent enough. But it didn't really seem to have much of an effect. Didn't like the 1 pill 3 times daily routine. It's just not very convenient.

Feel Womanly Again!
Some vitamin specialists say Korean Ginseng is "too hot" for women.They recommend other varieties.
I disagree with that. Androgens are the source of the libido in both men and women.As a mature woman,(over 50) my secretions were minimal to nonexistent.Two capsules of Swanson's 500mg. twice a day changed that.My womanly parts have definately reversed the aging process and are womanly again!
It has become difficult for me to find the higher doses locally. The only thing that would be better are the 5or6 year old roots.They are the most potent. We might not be able to get them at such a good value from our friends at Swanson though. I am content with the results i have received.

effective but beware
This product is very strong. I started out taking the recommended dose and noticed it helped keep me metally alert. However, I also started getting itchy rashy skin around the same time I started taking it, and realized through the advice of an acupucturist that this herb gave me an allergic reaction. She said the Korean Ginseng is usually too hot in the blood for most Americans. I stopped taking it and the rash went away. I would be very cautious with this herb.

Great Little Picker Upper
I started feeling the effects in as little as 2 weeks instead of the usual 6 weeks for a vitamin to start working in your system. It has gotten rid of that afternoon slump too.
