Usually buy this at Sams Club. Swanson had a better deal for what I could tell was basically the same.

Best Price Around for Cal Cit + Vit D
As for most of Swanson products this is the best price around for a reputable supplement from a reputable company. The 2 for 1 deal is just super.
Males need Calcium as well as females and that is not generally accepted or known.

Great supplement
Of all the calcium+d supplements I like this one the best because it is the easiest to swallow. The pills are big, like every other brand on the market, but they are very smooth. I have to take 4 per day so it makes a difference. Now, if Swanson made pills with twice as much calcium in them it would be great...

Calicum Citrate
Calicum Citrate is probably the best absorbed form of Calicum that you can take. I already take a mega dose of vitamin D, so I didn't need the extra, but that's ok. The only down side, is that the pills are huge, and you need 2 at a time, each time. Other than that, it's perfect and so cheap.

I ordered the Calcium Citrate for my husband and I
I was worried the tablets would be too large, but we didn't have any trouble taking them , They went down easy.We are an older couple and we enjoy ordering , and find Swanson's products resonable.

Like many, I was concerned that I could use more calcium in my diet. This is even better! It has vitamin D and calcium for a two-fer punch that I really like. This actually makes my tummy happy when I take it.

No Magnesium?
I understand that calcium and magnesium need to be in a ration of 2:1. I am disappointed that this contains no magnesium so that one needs to purchase an additional product.

I'm glad that despite the size of the pill, it was easy to swallow! I know it's the best absorbed into my system, compared with other forms of Calcium. I just wish each tablet had more MG's in it so I didn't have to take as many.

Calcium
I hope there will be smaller tablets, which are easier to swallow. I can take three tablets at the same time but it is very hard for my mother. We need high potent (1000 mg/tablet), and smaller tablet, if possible.

as good as the leading name brand
i've used a very popular leading name brand of cal citrate with d for years...swansons is as good if not better.[it is much easier to swallow verses the leading brand.]..it is less expensive,you get much more for your money,and dosage is the same.i will continue to use swansons brand of cal citrate with confidence.this definately is a winner!
