Mix this with my yogurt
Really like this product. Since the pills are too strong for me and cause stomach discomfort, I have it with yogurt every morning and it works well. I get a 64 oz container of plain non-fat Nancy's yogurt, then open 7 capsules as I pour them into the yogurt container and mix. I have some of it every morning, and maintain a happy tummy.

Dead Organisms
Product claims that each capsule contains more than one billion viable organisms. But like many Probiotics the organisms were not active anymore. I tested them in milk and soy milk without any results.

Acidophilus
I started taking Acidophilus that I bought at a health food store and had mixed results at a high cost. Then I decided to try Swanson Acidophilus and had great results with it. I have been taking it for three months and have no complains and the results are great.

Great Value Probiotic
One of my resolutions for the new year is to get more probiotics (good bacteria) in my diet. I take this product on days that I don't eat yogurt.
This product contains a popular and well-studied strain of good bacteria, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, and delivers a billion organisms per capsule, which is a decent number, especially for the price. I try to take the capsules with the meal of the day that is highest in fiber, since some experts suggest that various types of fiber help encourage the growth of good bacteria.
Overall, this is a basic, but potent, source of good bacteria. I plan on making this a regular part of my supplement plan.

Works for me
I have definitely noticed the difference when I take 2 capsules/day, therefore I am convinced of its effectiveness. The price is also right; though I would be even more pleased with the product if they could make it without the added magnesium stearate.

GREAT PRODUCT
I use this product daily and I find it to be absolutely great to keep my digestive system normal....I notice if I skip a day or two, it makes a difference, as soon as I go back to taking it, everything is normal again. Couldn't be happier
A few years ago a friend recommended I try Swanson's Acidophilus as a new addition to my vitamin/supplement regiment. I am so glad she did! I take two every morning and definitely notice a difference in my digestion throughout the day. As someone who has had lots of issues in that department I love how easy it is to take these and how well they actually work. And honestly could you find a better deal pricewise?

A great way to start the day
My husband and I take this with our morning vitamins and it helps balance our digestive system through the day. We take the Probiotic-4 at night before bed and definitely see a difference if we don't take it.

Great product and great value
Swanson acidophilus is the best deal I've found from any source online or locally, and the best part is, it works great! This particular product does not need to be refridgerated which makes it extremely convenient for me. I find that taking one with breakfast and one with dinner keeps my flora levels high. The price is so reasonable that my husband and I can add it to our daily vitamin regimen without it hurting our budget.

immediate results
Wasn't sure, from the directions, it the dosage was for two before each meal or two before one meal. two in the morning works just fine for me. for the first time in my life i'm a regular guy.
