Disappointed. . .
Swanson products had been highly recommended by an acquaintance, therefor, I ordered some vitamin D to try. Also, the price was fantastic.
Total disappointment after a couple of weeks when I read the ingredients. This product is full of fillers such as gelatin, modified food starch, rice flour, sucrose, silica, among three or four others. Not what you'd call pure vitamin D by any stretch of the imagination. Guess I got what I paid for at
that fantastic price--fillers. Won't make this mistake again.

D3 Success
In our part of the world, where the sun hides for months, the D3 (2000 IU) is key to getting through the Winter. We have had very good success at maintaining Vitamin D levels with this supplement.

I prefer Solar Gems
After this bottle, I think I will go back to my Solar Gems. Only have to take them every other day. The plastic bottle was cracked when it arrived, too. Had to transfer to another bottle.

One of my staple products
I've been taking this product for over a year, since my doctor told me my D3 levels were low and my recent blood tests were fine. It's easy to take, I like the capsule form and I feel better when I take it. It's one of my favorites and I always have a supply on hand.

Good deal
I can only assume that this product is helping me. As we know from school days- Any scientific experiment requires a "control". Since there is only one of myself, there is NO control. I therefore cannot have myself taking the supplement and a clone of myself NOT taking the supplement.

So convinient
Only 2 capsules gives you the 4000 IU that we decided to take in Winter. The capsules open and empty easily for adding to food for persons having problem swallowing anything bigger than a pea.

Why not supplement with Swanson Vitamin D?
I am always hesitant to provide a review, especially when quality is one of the questions. I am not sure how anyone would know the quality of a supplement without having access to a lab to verify its ingredients. But overall I believe Swanson is a reputable company that can be trusted, and with the list of health advantages for taking vitamin D-3 becoming larger every day, this is one supplement I highly recommend. With all the many health advantages for taking vitamin D-3, and its super low cost through Swanson, why not purchase this supplement?

High Potency Vitamin D3
I have been taking D3 for a few years with water before dinner and my doctor said to keep up the good work. D3 is fat soluble and should be taken with fatty food to aid absorption.
