Changed the formula?
Anyone else noticed the formula has changed on these? My kids don't like them anymore.

Bad Taste
None of the children liked the taste of the childrens chewable.

My seven year old is very finicky!
I thought these were great! However I didn't buy them for myself, my seven year old didn't like the way they tasted. I ended up giving them to someone else. I think if your child isn't as finicky as mine they would be great, we have been trying to find THE right multivitamin for him for a while now.

Very Good
Purchased lots of products from Swanson in last 3 months,All products are very good in quality,quantity and value for money.This product is highly effective and kids got fantastic results.

I ♥ Swanson Vitamins, but My Kids Don't ♥ SW1099
I know I can trust Swanson Vitamins for value & quality! But my kids really didn't like these. So glad Swanson has so many other great quality kid vitamins at great prices.

Not Great Taste
Only reason I gave it fair ratings is because my kids complain about the taste every time I try and give it to them. And to be honest, my husband and I tried them and they are very chaulky and "medicine-y" tasting. :( But love how good they are for my kids.

My Picky Eater LOVES THESE VITAMINS!
My 5 year old, who is very picky with what she eats, absolutely LOVES THESE VITAMINS! She brings the bottle to me everyday to remind me and she always says "I wish I could have 2, because they taste so great". Her appetite has seemed to pick up a little more since she started taking these too. I like the ingredients that these vitamins are made of, particularly the xylitol sweetener. And for the price that you pay for 120, I feel it's a great value for your money!

Terrible taste
Only chewable vitamins my granddaughter would not take. She hated them. I tried one and it tasted awful. I threw them away. A waste of money.

Not a fan fav
Of my 4 children ages 10 to 18... Only one will take them, grittyness in mouth & teeth. However he is health. Not overall satisfied.

children's vitamins
these are absolutely horrible tasting. My daughter told me they were and I tried them and she was right. Chalky, gritty and not very berry tasting.

Taste fine
After reading some of the reviews here I was a bit worried about the taste. After receiving them and giving them a try, no worries. They taste fine, not bad at all.
The ingredients seem to be comparable to others that I've considered.

Children's Chewable
The negative: This product taste horrible!! I'm an adult and couldn't stomach it. I feel bad for any kid(s) whose parents are making them take this.
The positive: I returned it. Swanson (blessed their hearts!) gave me credit. Thank you! Thank you!

Very Disappointed
I ordered the children vitamins about 3 months ago and they tasted good. I had no problem getting my children to take them everyday. Now the taste has changed and they are bitter and taste horrible. My 4 year old won't even take them he spits them out. Please change them back to the old recipe or I will have to find new vitamins to give my children.

Sad to say
I'm sad to say that these vitamins were gross! My daughter is not a picky eater and even she spit them out and made a "yuck" face. I then tried all three flavors, hoping that it wasn't so, but alas, they were terrible! I love my other swanson products, but these just missed the mark completely. I'm so glad they have an excellent return policy. These will be going back.

great for children
My daughter has me purchase these for the grandchildren with my order to keep on hand. The children love the taste & shapes! And we are happy to give them a good vitamin...not full of junk!

Excellent Product
I love this multivitamin and my daughter loves the taste. Everyday my daughter asks "can I have my vitamin one a day!" Best of all no sugars! Xylitol sweetened is the best and if you do any research Xylitol helps protect the teeth against cavities so even better to have your children take the vitamin!

I have tried several multivitamins and my kids love this one - even the picky 4 year old. I also like the fact that it is sweetened with fruit juice.

We heard you! New, New Formula!
Our Children's Chewables are now truly new & improved! A little history: In March 2005, we changed the formula and removed any artificial sweeteners; we replaced them with fruit juice and xylitol per many customer requests. We also added some flaxseed powder. Unfortunately, our 100% naturally sweetened Children's Chewables became an acquired taste (like liver & onions) for many people. After many customer comments, we reformulated it again in May 2008. It's still 100% natural, but without the offensive flax aftertaste. So far, we're getting lots of positive feedback. But, you can be sure, we'll keep checking the reviews and listening to your comments.

A hit and a miss
My mom bought these for my kids. My daughter loves them, my son doesn't like for them. I don't care that he doesn't care for the taste (probably because he was used to the overly-sweet taste of other vitamins) and will continued to keep buying them for my kids. I like the fact that they're sweetened by fruit juice and not sugar or an artificial sweetener. My kids were also very healthy all winter long while taking the supplement; they only just started to come down with the bugs going around, and coincidentally, I've run out of vitamins to give them!

Good value overall!
My four year old loves it, so I would'nt complain about the taste. I did try one tablet myself and find it not so sweet like other children chewables on the market and that's exactly what I want, after all, who would want their children to have lots of sugar along with their vitamins?
I believe the quality is excellent as far as I concern and the value is exceptional! Thanks Swanson!
