Getting past Plateau?
Started using this product after a long weight loss effort and hitting a plateau. Noticed increase energy which help keep the work outs going, going stronger and longer. In the end I pushed past the plateau. I did use a larger dose as most of what I read said 1000-2000mgs per day for weight loss. It also mentioned not to take after 3pm as it could upset your sleep, I didn't seem to have any sleep issues, but took my early morning and afternoon.

IT WORKS FOR SURE
it gives me extra boost, nice tightness in muscles, stamina and weight loss effects...i can see my body getting toned after a week of use only. will come back!

read the label's Fine Print!
I didn't read it, about keeping in its own bottle, and put them in with my other supplements in my 7-day pill case. After 3 days they are MUSH, never seen anything like it. Our dew point's been between 58 and 68, but AC's been on, nothing else is affected. Now the bottle's in the fridge, where I'll likely forget it.

These give you a nice tightness in your muscles and extra endurance if you take them a half hour before your workout.

Needs a better tablet coating
I'm sure the carnitine itself is just fine, but it is hygroscopic and so the tablets are kind of messed up by the time we get to the end of the bottle. It would be good if Swanson would improve the tablet coating. If you have any trouble swallowing pills, get a different form or brand.

Meh
Did not see any benefits from taking this supplement, but that's probably since my body is not L-Carnitine deficient. Did not have any problems with pills breaking down, but area I live has average humidity of about 15%. Was taking 4 pills per day which brings me up to the study recommended level to see effects.
Took these while doing workouts that burn an average of 700-800 calories per day. No improvement in fat loss.

Noticable
Yes, it breaks down fast in a moist environment, but that warning is on the container so it's not really a con. Actually it comes in handy when you want the benefit to start immediately. I don't plan my workouts too far in advance so this is fine for me, though I might add that the daily timing should not matter for long haul results. I started using at the same time as three other supplements, then stopped using them one at a time to check the effects. All the benefits were from this. It's no miracle pill but I feel it makes my healthy diet and exercise go farther

Tablet Integrity
While I have been generally satisfied with
Swanson Products, this one is below my standards, in as much as the tablet appears to absord moisture and delaminate (or break down) when left in my weekly pill boxes.

A must supplement for heart health
I've been taking this product for quite some time now and get a positive energy boost. However I haven't experienced any real weight loss frankly. In fairness though I started on a weight program about 2 months ago so I may be trading fat for muscle wt at this point. I'm no expert. Only other issue I have is when I take this on an empty stomach I experience major gas problems. My afternoon dose is at work so that can be awkward at times.

fantastic
Fantastic product...i started using it 3 months ago, together with multiple amino acids...plus i started going to gym (2-3 times per week) and I managed to get my body into shape very fast...i lost 10-12 kg, but managed to get more muscles than before and I don't feel tired after the gym

Weight loss
I take this a half hour before a work out and definately perform better with it. I do not take it on days that I don't work out. But I work out 5-6 days a week. I also lost the hard to lose fat I've been working on all my life. Lost 10 lbs. in six weeks that I couldn't loose before, even with the same workouts. Running faster too.

L-Carnitine
I am a marathon runner. Simply put, I run better when I take L-Carnitine. My legs feel stronger. My stamina is greater. My muscles are more tone. It's a once a day dose which is great. I am a better athlete because of it.

No Stomach Upset
I swicthed to this product from another brand because it has mild fillers that do not cause any stomch upset.

Tablets verses capsules
I have been using your products for 16 years and find them of the highest quality. My only problem is with the L-Carnitine tabs. They fall apart quickly, they cannot be pill packed because they disolve.
Please, please make them in capsule form. Thanks!
